Bird Nest on Door

I took this picture a while ago but is one of my favorites. The wreath was on the door and the two birds built a nest in it. I was thrilled to capture it with a photograph!

Latest Journal

Okay, the journal I had last month was Caroline's and leave it to her to challenge us in a unique way. She had one bag with items that you HAD to use in your tag and then another bag where you had to pick one item and use it, but then it becomes mandatory for the next person. Here is the tag I created. What fun it was coming up with an idea. I hope she likes it when she gets her journal back...unless she peeks here that is...LOL

I love the colors in this one!

I took this picture in German Village Ohio during the summer months. The owner of the house came out and spoke with me for a long time. What a wonderful memory and it made a beautiful card.

Here is another CD pocket I made for my COF surprise. Caroline should have it by now so I am not spoiling anything...LOL.

I started a Surprise project with my Circle of Friends group where you just have to send one thing to one person....on Friday, I received my surprise from Sandy with a y (I am Sandi with an i) and it is SOOOOO COOOOOL! Sandy knows I like Teesha Moore and made me this journal. Thanks Sandy so much! I LOVE IT!

My Circle of Friends does a surprise project each month. You have to send a surprise to the one person's mailbox that you are assigned. I burned a CD and then made this cover for my surprise.

One of my Favorites

I made this for my Circle of Friends group some time ago and it has been one of my favorites. We only could use black and white. The scan doesn't portray it the best but you can get the idea!

House for Sale!

As many of you know, I am involved with a group of wonderful women, friends and artists across the U.S. called my Circle of Friends. We have a journal rotation where each month you have one journal to add to and then send on for the next person to work on it, until eventually it ends up back to the original owner. Last month was Andrea's journal and she had a house theme. It began as a chipboard house and here is my creation. I had fun with this one and hope she likes it!Here is the front side...

Hello World!

Okay....one of my goals was to start a blog for my artwork and photography. (hence the title with the all caps being CREATE ART) I already run two different blogs, one for Send Love Today volunteers which shows card ideas and the other for my family which has family photographs. This one is different. It is to help me not only make time for creating but also for tracking my progress of techniques, photographs etc. If you happen to find it and enjoy it, feel free to post a comment or suggestion. Make time for what makes you happy, before time slips away and you don't have a choice.
